1968: Several families start meeting for Bible Study. 1970: A 3-acre parcel was purchased at Kellart Lake. We broke ground for our first church building. 1977: An addition was built onto the West side of the building to include space for rooms, a kitchen, and fellowship room. 1986: AWANA program starts to reach area children in the community. 1987: A new sanctuary was built onto the South side of the original sanctuary as well as a recreation room to double the physical size of the building. 1990s: Attendance declined with multiple pastors coming and going; the leadership team decided to try new things and serve in innovative ways while remaining theologically conservative. 2007: Pastor Trey and Shelly Scheffer moved from Texas to pastor the church. 2022: The church exchanged a plot of land south of the church for the adjacent plot east of the church to create a cohesive strip of land that runs from Route 49.
